Words matter. Feelings Matter. Words help us to describe our feelings so we can understand them better. Understand our feelings better. Understand ourselves better. Feel better. Be better. Have a better life.

Never say “You make me feel …” It’s not about the other person, It’s about you. Own your feelings. Say: “I feel ..”

Never say : “I feel like … I’m going to … do something, say something…”  Own your feelings. Say: “I feel ..”

Once you admit, e.g. “I feel …. sad.” Now can you work on that feeling. Work with that feeling. What caused it? What made you feel that way? Why? Why did you respond like that? Once you’ve identified it, you can fix it, resolve it, do something.
